News Desk, News Nation 360 : Recently Acropolis Mall, one of the top modern shopping locations in India, celebrated their 9th Anniversary. The mall celebrated the event with a modest but happy gathering right before Durga Puja, the largest festival for Bengalis. Agamani songs announcing the advent of Goddess Durga, a vibrant folk medley, and a semi-classical Ganesh Vandana were among the sequences that Odissi dancer and choreographer Trisha Das Mandal and her team performed for the audience. During the function, children from Pathchala received new garments from Sushil Mohta, Chairman of Merlin Group and developer of Acropolis Mall. Rukmini Paul,
President of Pathchala, and Subhadip Basu, General Manager of Acropolis Mall, also attended. The Kalighat region's impoverished youngsters receive assistance from the nonprofit organisation Pathchala. The young kids' cheeks lit up when they received the new clothes in time for Durga Puja. Along with a special performance by the Pathchala youngsters, the celebration included a lively classical dance performance by Trisha Das Mandal and her company. In commemoration of Acropolis Mall's birthday, a lavish cake-cutting ceremony marked the end of the festivities. Sushil Mohta remarked that Acropolis Mall's introduction of residential buildings and branded retail establishments has changed the neighbourhood's identity. People of all ages congregate there with friends and family as it has grown to be a well-liked hangout. One of the most popular places for family fun these days is the mall.
