Ambuja Cements is Getting Closer to Achieve Net Zero

News Desk, News Nation 360 : By using zero-carbon heating technology to decarbonise its cement production process, Ambuja Cements, the cement and building material company of the diverse Adani Portfolio, moves closer to its Net Zero objectives. The company has formed a strategic alliance with Coolbrook, a technology and engineering firm based in Finland. Ambuja will use Coolbrook's exclusive RotoDynamic HeaterTM (RDHTM) technology to drastically cut carbon emissions and reduce reliance on fossil fuels. RDH technology presents a sustainable means of achieving high temperatures using green power, thus reducing dependence on fossil fuels. This new technology can be used in different industries, including cement production, where it can be used to replace or minimize the use of fossil fuels in cement kiln pre-calciners. Elimination of carbon emissions related to conventional fuel usage contributes greatly to reducing the environmental footprint of cement production. Ambuja Cements is a company committed to operational excellence and sustainability, actively exploring and implementing such innovative solutions to drive a greener future.  Ajay Kapur, CEO of Cement Business, Adani Group, stated that their strategic alliance with Coolbrook is exciting because it demonstrates their dedication to achieve Net Zero goals. This action solidifies their sector leadership in sustainability. Throughout their cement manufacturing value chain, they are always looking for technologies that promote efficiency and decarbonisation. In the end, they will be able to provide the best value for their stakeholders by lowering their reliance on fossil fuels, expenses, and emissions by utilising the green power generation capabilities of the Adani Group.
