News Desk, News Nation 360 : The West Bengal State Level Federation of Microfinance Institutions, known as the Association of Microfinance Institutions - West Bengal (AMFI-WB), arranged the State Lenders' Meet for the Microfinance Industry on Wednesday in Kolkata. AU Small Finance Bank, Bank of Baroda, UCO Bank, Union Bank of India, State Bank of India, Bangiya Gramin Vikash Bank, Bandhan Bank, Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, IDBI Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, DCB Bank, SBM Bank, Central Bank of India, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Union Bank of India, Punjab & Sind Bank, City Union Bank, and other banks were among the participating banks at the Lenders' Meet. Attending the conference were representatives and members of AMFI-WB, as well as Mr. Jiji Mammen, ED, Sa-Dhan, and Ms. Usha Ramesh, CGM, NABARD. Moreover, the GM and DGM of SIDBI attended the Meet. Both the AMFI-WB Chairperson and the Chairman of MFIN will attend the meeting. The Bankers Meet provided an excellent platform for the discussion of collaborations, alliances, and the prospects created by digital technology, newer funding mechanisms, and rules pertaining to financial inclusion. In addition to showcasing the banking and microfinance sectors' offerings, the conference raised awareness of the sector and its stakeholders through talks at the Lenders' Meet. A Bankers Meet was held with representatives from various financial institutions, including AMFI-WB, Sa-Dhan, NABARD, and SIDBI. The conference served as a platform to discuss potential collaborations, alliances, and the impact of digital technology on financial inclusion. It offered an opportunity for the banking and microfinance sectors to showcase their offerings and raise awareness among stakeholders through informative talks, with the participation of key industry leaders such as the AMFI-WB Chairperson and the Chairman of MFIN.
