News Desk, News Nation 360 : Leading Bengali entertainment network Zee Bangla's newest show, Anandi, promises to enthral viewers once more. This emotionally intense show, which debuted on September 23, 2024, promises to take viewers on a moving journey through the life of a young woman who thinks that love and affection are the answers to many of life's problems. "Anandi" tells the story of a determined young woman, Anandi, played by Anwesha Hazra, from a lower middle-class family with dreams of becoming a doctor. Her ambitions are put on hold when her father's illness forces her to take up a job as a nurse to support her family. While working for a wealthy family of doctors, Anandi meets her idol, Dr. Adidev Lahiri, a renowned heart surgeon portrayed by Writwik Mukherjee. Their relationship starts on the wrong foot, especially after the tragic death of Anandi’s father during surgery under Dr. Lahiri’s supervision. Fate takes a turn when Anandi is compelled into an unwanted marriage, and in her new life, she discovers that Dr. Lahiri was unfairly blamed for her father's death. With resilience and determination, she sets out to clear his name and seek justice. Samrat Ghosh, Chief Cluster Officer - East, North and Premium Cluster, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. stated that Anandi is a painstakingly written story that emphasises the importance of justice, family, and love. They are sure that Anandi's tale will have a profound effect on their audience because it reflects the struggles and victories that many people can relate to. Long after the story ends, viewers will still be thinking about it. Anandi, produced by Nini Chini's Mamma's Productions, owned by Nilanjanaa, and directed by Gopal Chakraborty, will be aired from 23rd September 2024, every day at 6.30 pm, on Zee Bangla.
