Antara Society Held Their Mental Health Awareness Campaign & Foundation Day Celebration

News Desk, News Nation 360 : Antara Society commemorated its Foundation Day, which honours more than 40 years of devoted work in the field of mental health treatment and rehabilitation. To raise awareness of the difficulties faced by those who suffer from addiction, alcoholism, and mental illness, this unique event also features a Mental Health Awareness Campaign. The primary goal of Antara's work is still to lessen the suffering of those with mental illness, particularly the underprivileged. Antara has become a ray of hope for those who are mentally ill thanks to her dedication to rehabilitation via love, tolerance, and compassion. The Mental Health Awareness Campaign seeks to dispel stigma around mental health concerns and

offer assistance to underserved individuals and families. British Deputy High Commissioner Andrew Fleming, Stress Management Specialist Molly Thambi, Deputy Director of Lifeline Foundation, Joint Secretary at Antara Psychiatric Hospital, and Hon. Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Golpark, Swami Suparnanda Maharaj, graced the occasion. Kamal Prakash, President of Antara Society stated that serving others with steadfast commitment is at the core of Antara. Their goal is very clear: to aid those who are most in need, to bring solace to those who are depressed, and to treat each individual with dignity and respect, regardless of their sickness. They can work together to create a future in which everyone, regardless of financial situation, has access to mental health care since mental health is a fundamental human right.
