News Desk, News Nation 360 : One of the well-known General Entertainment Channels (GEC), Aakash Aath, debuted Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's critically acclaimed novel Anuradha as the latest instalment in the Sahityer Shera Somoy television series. Anuradha tells the story of an unmarried, wealthy family woman who faces endless obstacles but never gives up. Rather than giving in to her situation, she takes it on head-on. Anuradha's son intends to evict her when Vijay, the new landlord, receives the estate of her family. Vijay intends to marry Anita, a learned woman from the city, but he finds himself falling in love with Anuradha because of her love for his only son, Kumar. The narrative examines the nuances of family ties, loyalty, and love. Suman Roy is the director of the recently launched series Anuradha. Pritha Chanda plays the lead role in Anuradha.
Performers Aditya Bakshi plays Vijay, Safalya Debnath plays Kumar, Jeena Tarafdar plays Amar Chatterjee, Plaban Basu plays Gagan, Prabha plays Tanusree Bhattacharya, and Sayantan Halder plays Ajay. Priyanka Surana Bardia, Director, Aakash Aath stated that they are updating ageless classics of Bengali literature for a modern audience in Sahityer Shera Somoy. Anuradha, authored by Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay, is the most recent story in the series. This well-known show's fifth tale will examine the many facets of life and love while showcasing a woman's unwavering determination to overcome all obstacles in the best interests of her child. They hope that this new story, with its potent screenplay and performances, will allow them to offer their audience something fresh and new. Anuradha will air on Aakash Aath from Monday through Saturday, beginning at 7:30 p.m. on February 19, 2024.
