News Desk, News Nation 360 : To transform joint care throughout its network, Apollo Hospitals introduced its ground-breaking Apollo Joint Preservation Program in India. In addition to encouraging a proactive approach to joint health, this innovative program focuses on early intervention and individualised treatment to help people keep their mobility and confidence. Senior physicians from Apollo Hospitals' orthopaedic department, along with Dr Brett Fritsch, orthopaedic surgeon and arthroscopic and replacement specialist for the knee at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, and Dr Sangita Reddy, joint managing director of Apollo Hospitals, attended the launch. The Apollo Joint Preservation Program provides holistic and trust-based joint care for patients with joint pain, arthritis, inflammatory disorders, and ligament sprains by focusing on active and healthy lifestyle practices to reduce pain and possibly prevent invasive surgery, enabling patients to gain from early detection and personalized therapies that can delay or prevent serious joint health conditions through cutting-edge Orthobiologic and regenerative therapies like Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy and stem cell treatments, along with surgical interventions like osteotomies to restore alignment, and various arthroscopic and open surgeries for chondral defects, meniscal repairs, ligament reconstructions, and Unicondylar Knee Replacement, all supported by a wide array of support services ranging from physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and nutritional counseling, with the goal of preserving natural joint function, establishing patient trust, and ensuring a smooth transition to joint replacement if eventually required, demonstrating Apollo Hospitals' dedication to improving quality of life and encouraging a more active and rewarding lifestyle. Congratulating the team at the launch of the Joint Preservation Program, Dr Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director - Apollo Hospitals stated that people of all ages who might not be aware of the available treatment options for joint discomfort or degeneration might benefit from Apollo's Joint

Preservation Program, which is centred on patient comfort and support. Their team of experts will concentrate on the "3 Ts" through this specific program: personalised guidance, medical and surgical treatment, and treatments (such as alternative therapies, nutrition, and rehabilitation). This multi-city project demonstrates their dedication to assisting individuals in maintaining their mobility and improving their long-term quality of life.
