Axis Bank clients with exceptionally high net worth will be the only ones eligible to get invitations to apply for the new super-premium card, Primus. Customers in India will be able to enjoy the highly regarded, specially designed advantages and benefits offered by Visa Infinite Privilege for the first time. India is now among the largest economies in the world, with a GDP of about $3.5 trillion. This economic expansion has encouraged significant wealth accumulation, with a record India would have about 16.3 lakh millionaires by 2026, according to estimates, with 200 Indians making it to Forbes' 2024 World's Billionaire List. A recent analysis projects that over half (58.4%) of India's ultra-high-net-worth people (UHNWI) with net worths over $30 million will increase over the next five years. The "Axis Bank PRIMUS Soiree" in New Delhi and Mumbai served as the introduction of PRIMUS to a select group of customers. Celebrities and high-ranking business executives from India attended the premiere of "Primus - the rarest metal," which took place on a tastefully designed evening.
