Axis Bank Encourages Young Minds to Express Gratitude through Pan India Competition SPLASH

News Desk, News Nation 360 : In an effort to promote and cultivate goodwill among children aged 7 to 14, Axis Bank, one of the biggest private sector banks in India, announced the launch of "SPLASH," an annual statewide competition in art, craft, and literature. This year, SPLASH will centre around the theme of "Gratitude," inspiring young people to consider and use their creativity to convey the value of gratitude and appreciation. Participants have until November 30, 2024, to register and submit their entries at www.axisbanksplash.in. Additionally, a few Axis Bank offices, schools, shopping centres, and Residential Welfare Associations (RWAs) will host on-site tournaments. Axis Bank hopes to reach more than 7 lakh people throughout India with this effort by holding the tournament both in-person and virtually. The Bank is hosting a nationwide competition for children, where the top performers will receive mentorship from domain experts, cash prizes worth up to Rs. 2 lakhs, and a chance to exhibit their artworks at MAP, Bengaluru. There are two age groups for the competition: 7–10 years old and 11–14 years old. Participants will be encouraged to use literature, art, and sketching to convey their ideas and creativity on two sub-themes: "The Unsung Heroes" (ages 11–14) and "The Grateful Hearts" (7–10 years). Sharad Tawde, Joint Secretary of the Art Society of India; Vishal Sethia, National Content Director for India, Radio Mirchi; Vikrant Shitole, Chairman & Secretary of the Art Society of India; and Savio Mascarenhas, Group Art Director at Amar Chitra Katha, are among the distinguished jury panel members who will assess the entries. Additionally, all winners will attend workshops by leading institutes. The top 400 qualifiers will receive exciting gifts from renowned brands. To make the experience more engaging, the Bank has partnered with Chhota Bheem for financial literacy sessions and Vobble for audio stories on financial concepts and gratitude. The previous edition of the competition saw a remarkable 36% increase in participation, with over 6.8 lakh entries. By conducting the competition both physically and digitally, the Bank ensured maximum reach and showcased its commitment to nurturing young talent. The success of the initiative has been recognized with prestigious awards at e4m Golden Mikes and ACEF Global Customer Engagement Summit & Awards.
