The mother-son team turned food entrepreneurs, Sudakshina Mukherjee and Aditya Banerjee, personally oversee the dish preparation. Sudakshina has been a home cook for several years, providing her ever-expanding clientele with delicious meals. Café Sunshine is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and from dawn until dusk. -son team has chosen a selection based on their individual favourites, drawing on their experiences. Sudakshina's mother, the late Chhanda Mukherjee, was a talented chef. While still in school, she began experimenting in her home kitchen and received encouragement from friends and family. Her love of cooking led to her becoming a highly praised home cook. She provided care for the elderly and numerous NGOs during the Covid period. Her son Aditya is at her side. The
highlight of this Café is its uncluttered stylish interiors with an accent on serving freshly prepared items with fresh ingredients. Cafe Sunshine will also be serving Sunday Specials which include Prawn Cutlets, Prawn Cocktail, Stuffed Mushrooms, Fish in Lemon Cream Sauce, Galauti Kebab, Mutton Keema Chop, Bandel cheese momo, Chicken momo, Virgin mojito, Blue lagoon, Orange blossom and more. Sudakshina Mukherjee stated that her dream has always been to have a small cafe that serves a wider clientele. The praise she has received from her customers gave her the courage to step outside of her kitchen. She gave it the name Cafe Sunshine because delicious food always lifts spirits and is just as necessary for the lives as the sun.
