Rishika Agarwal, who developed her entrepreneurial mindset in a family with more than 50 years of business experience in the jewellery sector, namely RR Agarwal Jewellers, founded by Ratan Lal Agarwal and Sri Revati Raman Agarwal in 1974, opened Caratly's online shop in August 2023 to provide minimalist real jewellery for daily wear. This family legacy, also being further energized by the third generation's Rishab Agarwal in 2018, has taken the family business to national stature. Caratly, with a price range averaging around ₹20,000, has a varied clientele base, comprising more than 300 clients, and has emerged as a value choice for bulk gifting, e.g., wedding gifts, exhibition pieces, kids' jewellery, and export orders. Rishika Agarwal showed her eagerness for the launch of the store, stating that it exemplifies the company's enthusiasm for making meaningful yet accessible jewellery and asking customers to explore the very essence of beauty and sophistication in the new store in Kolkata.
