News Desk, News Nation 360 : At the school level, the Subroto Cup is the esteemed National Football Championship Tournament. The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), India's sole private school education board, oversees its annual organisation. At the school level, it's also a basic talent hunt program. The school football national championship tournament is known as the Subroto Cup. The competing teams are the champions of each state or region. This year, Ratnakar North Point School, under the direction of Sailesh Pandey, the school's principal and CISCE Regional Co-coordinator, West Bengal & NE States, is hosting the tournament to promote football as a sport and, concurrently, discover gifted players at the local level. The CISCE National Pre-Subroto Cup, a football competition for boys aged 17 and under, opened with a ceremony at the AIFF National Centre of Excellence Football Ground in Rajarhat. CISCE Chairman Dr. G. Immanual, Chief Guest; CISCE Secretary & Chief Executive Dr. Josef Immanual; and CISCE Secretary of Finance Arijit Basu will grace this inaugural program. State and regional champion teams from across India are competing in this tournament. This competition, which is being held by Ratnakar North Point School, looks to be a major sporting occasion that attracts young athletes from all over the country.
