News Desk, News Nation 360 : To set up Multi-skill Skill Development Institutes (MSDIs) in the command areas of Coal India's subsidiary companies, Coal India Limited and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The MoU was signed in the presence of Vinay Ranjan, Director (P&IR), Coal India Limited, Manoj Kumar, CMD, EdCIL (India) Ltd., and Rupinder Brar, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Coal, Govt. of India. Senior representatives from the Ministry of Coal and other coal companies, as well as directors (Personnel) from CIL's subsidiaries, were present for the event. Every subsidiary will have one MSDI set up; the first phase will cover CCL, BCCL, MCL, NCL, and SECL, while the second phase will cover the remaining subsidiaries. This programme is an example of CIL's dedication to helping young people in the community develop their skills and find long-term jobs in coal-bearing regions.
