News Desk, News Nation 360 : In front of the cast and crew, Dev Entertainment Ventures released the special poster for their highly anticipated movie Binodiini – Ekti Natir Upakhyan at the Binodini Theatre (formerly known as Star Theatre). The film is directed by renowned filmmaker Ram Kamal Mukherjee. The poster presents Chandan Roy Sanyal, who plays the renowned Shri Ramakrishna Paramhansa Deb in a transformational role. The film tells the heartbreaking yet inspirational story of a young girl from North Kolkata's red-light area who dared to dream of becoming a theatre star. She defied all barriers to become famous as Nati Binodini, a name that came to represent brilliance in Bengali theatre. Her ascent was fraught with social discrimination and difficulties, nevertheless, as the spectre of her past often threatened to eclipse her accomplishments. The unveiled poster of "Binodiini" shows an emotional journey on the issues revolving social perception of women, Bengali theatre as a dynamic world, and the enshrined legacy of Nati Binodini. Some of the significant actor castings include Rahul Bose, Kaushik Ganguly,
Mir, Chandreyee Ghosh, and Om Sahani among others. The story, screenplay, and dialogues are written by Priyanka Poddar, and research has been directed by Abhra Chakraborty. The technical crew of the film includes Soumik Haldar as the Director of Photography, Sourendro Somyojit composing music from the renowned musical duo, art direction by Tonmoy Chakroborty, and editing and costume design by Pranoy Dasgupta and Suchismita Dasgupta, respectively. "Binodiini" is to be a moving testament to the untold stories of women and the sacrifices they make to achieve their dreams. The movie is an Assorted Motion Pictures and a Pramod Films production which is presented under Dev Entertainment Ventures to hit the floors on January 23, 2025, in many single screens and multiplexes across West Bengal, it will connect viewers from all across the globe.
