Eurobank and Indian Chamber of Commerce Signed a Landmark MoU

News Desk, News Nation 360 : Recently, Eurobank S.A. and the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) inked a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together on the establishment of the India-Greece-Cyprus (IGC) Business Council. The three countries' greater economic relations and expanded commercial prospects are the goals of the MoU. To capitalise on the distinct advantages of each economy, the IGC Business Council will act as a platform for promoting trade, investment, and innovation between Greece, Cyprus, and India. The council will concentrate on important industries like energy, tourism, shipping, technology, and finance. The CEO of Eurobank, Fokion Karavias, and the President of the Indian Chamber of Commerce, Ameya Prabhu, signed the agreement during a ceremony at the Indian Embassy in Athens. Present speakers at the event included Marinos Giannopoulos, CEO of Enterprise Greece, and Indian Ambassador Rudrendra Tandon, who emphasised the partnership's strategic significance for upcoming international cooperation. This event ushers in a new age of industry-wide cooperation and represents a major advancement in the strategic ties between Greece, Cyprus, and India. The creation of the IGC Business Council will foster shared innovation and cultural interchange in addition to strengthening business ties.
