News Desk, News Nation 360 : India's top toy manufacturer, Funskool India Limited, recently held the country's inaugural CATAN National championship in Dublin Square, Phoenix Market City, Mumbai. CATAN is a compelling and universal tale about the pursuit of global exploration, discovery, trade, and construction. Based on strategy and exploration, it all comes down to understanding the shifting terrain and taking the appropriate actions to establish and prosper. Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru hosted a series of qualification tournaments before the India CATAN National Championship. In Mumbai, Funskool hosted the India CATAN National Championship in collaboration
with Meeplecon, the biggest board game convention in India. Participants in the competition came from throughout India. The winner of the India CATAN National Championship was Shobhit Kasera of Kolkata. From April 4–6, 2025, he will compete for India in the CATAN World Championship in Stuttgart, Germany. He stated that his experience with CATAN has been nothing short of incredible, and he likes playing it. It was a dream come true to win the competition in India, and it was a lot of fun to play in Bombay. Funskool, the organisers, did a fantastic job.
