News Desk, News Nation 360 : With the publication of "It's a Onederful World," a coffee table book that vividly illustrates tales of inclusivity, resiliency, and transformation, Future Generali India Insurance Company (FGII) has proudly turned a new page in its DEI journey. This book, which was introduced in a lavish ceremony, represents a significant turning point in FGII's steadfast dedication to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and demonstrates how the world can truly become "beautiful" when all voices are heard. The book vividly depicts the inspirational tales of FGII's PwD staff and people from a variety of backgrounds. It honours the significant accomplishment of FGII in reaching a 1% representation of PwDs. A recent book launch celebrating FGII's commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) saw celebrities like Rana Daggubati, Sudha Chandran, Avani Lekhara, and Srikanth Bolla in attendance, underscoring the company's commitment to this important initiative that was launched in 2022 by wisely making DEI a top priority through policy reforms, sensitization initiatives, and the introduction of inclusive products for the LGBTQIA+ segment and women, showing FGII's holistic approach towards becoming an inclusive employer, insurer, and corporate citizen; importantly, FGII managed to achieve its ambitious objective of employing 1% of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) in a record one year, expanding its PwD employee strength to 41 employees across 16 regional branches, with almost 22% of the hires being women, further accentuating the company's commitment towards creating a genuinely inclusive workplace. Speaking at the launch, Anup Rau, Managing Director and CEO, of Future Generali India Insurance Company Ltd. stated that inclusion must be a lived reality rather than only a policy. To ensure that the solutions they develop represent the varied communities they serve, true inclusion entails giving all stakeholders a place at the table. They take pride in the fact that 1% of their employees are people with disabilities—not as a requirement, but rather as a testament to their abilities, perspectives, and potential.
