News Desk, News Nation 360 : The Spiral Initiative Foundation, the NGO arm of the Hulladek Group, has teamed up with Goodeebag, a waste management solutions startup based in Hyderabad, to introduce the "Goodeebag" mobile application in Kolkata as part of a revolutionary endeavour to transform waste management and promote a circular economy. The Goodeebag mobile application has been launched to transform waste management by bridging the gap between households and waste collectors, encouraging proper waste segregation, disposal, and recycling through an incentivized mechanism rewarding users with redeemable points for each kilogram of dry waste collected, redeemable for eco-friendly products. This platform further maximizes waste recycling by forecasting plastic consumption patterns and consolidating collection channels, supplemented by IoT-capable waste bins monitoring real-time information for improved operational efficiency and scalability. On this occasion, the panel discussion named "Revolutionizing Waste Management: The Power Of Collaboration For A Circular Future" was undertaken with renowned panellists comprising Abhishiek Agarwal, Founder Goodeebag; Ajay Mittal, Independent Consultant & Earth Day Network Ex-Director; Nivvedita Jain, ESG Professional & Founder Living Pink; Pauline Laravoire, Founder Y-East & Techno India Group's Sustainability Director; and Nandan Mall, Founder & CMD Hulladek Recycling, who together shared and discussed cooperation strategies for fulfilling a sustainable, circular waste management system. Nandan Mall, Founder & CMD of Hulladek Recycling stated that Goodeebag is a movement towards sustainable development and responsible consumerism, not just a trash management project. The goal of the Spiral Initiative Foundation is to accelerate the adoption of circular economy ideas, drive research and development, and raise awareness to create significant change in the sustainability area. Every object should, in their opinion, be used several times before it reaches the end of its useful life. With this project, we aim to increase recycling effectiveness, create a Circularity Research Lab for sustainable problem-solving, evaluate the quality of materials for recycling or reuse, and start creative upcycling projects. Together, they can make a big difference and advance the circular economy.
