News Desk, News Nation 360 : With great pride, Lyfius Pharma announces the opening of its cutting-edge Pen-G manufacturing plant in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. In the presence of Dr Mansukh Mandaviya (Union Minister of Labour & Employment, Youth Affairs & Sports), Anupriya Patel (Union MoS Chemicals & Fertilisers, Health & Family Welfare), Prataprao Jadhav (Union MoS (IC) Ayush, MoS Health & Family Welfare), Sushri Shobha Karandlaje (Union MoS Labour & Employment, Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises), and Jagat Prakash Nadda (Union Minister of Chemicals & Fertilisers, Health & Family Welfare), the facility was virtually inaugurated by Hon'ble Narendra Modi. Under the Government of India's PLI Scheme, this facility is a strategic investment of ₹2,500 crores and serves as an example of how private sector involvement can greatly boost innovation, improve healthcare security, and contribute to national progress. Strengthening local production capabilities in key KSMs, DIs, and APIs is the goal of the pharmaceutical industry's PLI strategy. Commenting on the occasion, M.V. Rama Krishna, Director of Lyfius Pharma, stated that their efforts to improve local manufacturing and lessen reliance on imports for essential pharmaceutical ingredients have reached a major milestone with the opening of their Pen-G facility. This investment demonstrates our dedication to advancing the government's "Atmanirbhar Bharat" goal, which aims to make India a major global pharmaceutical manufacturing hub.
