News Desk, News Nation 360 : A significant milestone in the London Stock Exchange Group's (LSEG) efforts to expand internationally has been reached with the opening of the company's Technology Centre of Excellence in Hyderabad, India. The facility wants to lead the way in developing new products and services by putting low-latency technology development first and leveraging the local startup scene. Located in Hyderabad's HITEC City, the new centre for LSEG employs 300 professionals in a range of roles. Through the use of the Microsoft partnership, it supports the business divisions of the Group and Corporate Technology. With a focus on Generative AI and Data Sciences, it will serve as an innovation hub in partnership with local startups and concentrate on low-latency technology. In line with LSEG's goals, the centre will take advantage of the city's extensive technical education offerings as well as its emphasis on ERP, DevOps, and cloud security. Irfan Hussain, Chief Information Officer, LSEG, said that they are excited to present Hyderabad's new Technology Centre of Excellence. It will be crucial to our ability to meet customer demands for best-in-class products and establish ourselves as a premier supplier of engineering solutions to the world's financial ecosystem. By the end of 2025, they hope to have hired over 1000 engineers and professionals by utilising the engineering expertise of the region. To draw and develop talent, the centre has a Build-Operate-Transfer partnership with Tata Consulting Services (TCS). TCS offers extensive engineering training, quick market logistics, and reliable infrastructure.
