News Desk, News Nation 360 : Recently, the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) held its Centenary Marathon Run 2025 at Mohammedan Sporting Club to commemorate its 100th anniversary. The event brought together fitness enthusiasts, business executives, and professional athletes to encourage sportsmanship and overall health. Former MP and two-time Asian Games gold medallist Jyotirmoyee Sikdar, gymnast Pranati Das, actress Deblina Kumar, principal Dr. Sutapa Roy of Vidyasagar College for Women, and model Md. Iqbal kicked off the event. The ICC Centenary Marathon had two race divisions, an 11 KM Run for professionals and a 3.5 KM Run for individuals aged 18 to 60, with the first three in each division receiving cash prizes. In the 11 KM men's category, Mostafa Molla received ₹20,000, while Pritam Das received ₹15,000 and Romit Ghosh received ₹10,000, and in the women's category, Rimpi Devi received ₹20,000, while Chandrima Mishra received ₹15,000 and Dipannita Roy received ₹10,000. For the 3.5 KM, the men's category was won by Ambuj Tiwari for ₹10,000, with Kuldip Tiwari (₹7,000) and Sayan Kr Das (₹5,000) coming in second and third, respectively, and for the women's category, Sharmistha Sinhababu secured a win of ₹10,000, followed by Isha Mondal (₹7,000) and Muskan Jain (₹5,000). The event underlined the ICC's commitment to fitness and wellness, reaffirming its century-old tradition of leadership and progress.
