News Desk, News Nation 360 : The Idlygo team and Anup Kanodia, the company's founder, joined Nidhi Asif of WYSIWYG and Ananya Bhowmik, a clinical nutritionist and lifestyle consultant, to celebrate World Idly Day over a conversation about the health benefits of the South Indian staple food at the Press Club. The team members also cut a cake during the event. Idlygo is situated in seven notable locations: RN Mukherjee Road (near Old Mission Church), Shakespeare Sarani (near Chhapan Bhog), Dhakuria (near AMRI Hospital), Girish Park (opposite Haryana Bhavan), Park Circus (near Don Bosco School), and Salt Lake Sec V (near Decathlon). Anup Kanodia said that in a world where processed food seems to drown out easy, simple, and nutritious food options, IdlyGo stands out as a ray of hope for people looking for a healthy, quick lunch on the run. IdlyGo set out to offer a solution that would appeal to a wide audience, motivated by the desire to
recover the essence of traditional, wholesome food. Realising the health benefits and ease of idlys—which are light, nutritious, and steam-cooked—IdlyGo debuted a menu featuring this South Indian mainstay. IdlyGo created a satisfying meal that adhered to dietary requirements and satisfied hunger with two idlys served with fresh coconut chutney. Idlygo used to only serve idlis, but these days it offers about a hundred items on its menu. The menu features beverages, vadas, dosas, uttapams, different types of rice preparations, desserts, chutneys, beverages, and ice creams as well as is divided into Best Sellers, Chef's Special, Must Try, Recommended, and New categories. Idlygo distinguishes itself with five USPs. These are Fresh, Quality, Affordable, Hygienic, and Healthful. Within the next six months, there are plans to open 25 idlyGo Xpress locations in Kolkata and Howrah as well as introduce idlyGo Canteens inside of hospitals, big corporations, and factories. Additionally, IdlyGo food carts will soon be introduced. The brand's "Gift a Meal" initiative, which distributes free food to hospitals, orphanages, slum areas, senior living facilities, and other vulnerable communities, is one of its strongest commitments. It is available to anyone who wants to purchase meal kits to give to the less fortunate. The company hires people with speech and hearing impairments for its cafes, cycle vending, and kitchen as part of its commitment to diversity.
