News Desk, News Nation 360 : The well-known exercise and weight loss facility Soumen's Workout (No Machine Zone) is pleased to announce the first anniversary of its statewide program, the "Jago India Jago exercise Campaign." Launched on March 1, 2024, the campaign aimed to combat the nation's rising obesity problem while encouraging Indians to adopt a better and more active lifestyle. Coinciding with the Silver Jubilee celebration of Soumen’s Workout, which marks 25 years of promoting sustainable, equipment-free fitness. The campaign's main goal is to combat obesity and transform India into a health-conscious nation by educating and empowering people of all ages to make fitness a lifestyle. Over the past year, the "Jago India Jago" campaign has significantly impacted 15 major cities, including Kolkata, with thousands of participants aged 5 to 90 engaging in fitness sessions, personalised workouts, and motivational activities. Inspiring stories
from participants across different age groups, including a child battling obesity and older individuals staying fit, highlighted that fitness has no age limit. The campaign uniquely adopts a "No Machine Zone" approach, making fitness more accessible by conducting sessions in parks, gardens, beaches, and stadiums at convenient times. In addition to physical fitness, Soumen's Workout also reinforces public health commitment through decade-long awareness rallies like the "World No Tobacco Day" and "World Obesity Day" marches for children, emphasising holistic well-being. Soumen Das, Proprietor of Soumen’s Workout, expressed his enthusiasm about this milestone and stated that they are pleased to have finished the first year of the "Jago India Jago Fitness Campaign." They have been relentlessly promoting a fitness culture for the past 26 years, and this campaign has expanded their purpose across the country. It has been tremendously motivating to see people of all ages, from small children to elderly people in their 90s, voluntarily commit to leading better lives.
