It has announced the East Zone Vice Chancellors Meet 2024-2025. H.E. Dr. C.V. Ananda Bose, Hon'ble Governor of West Bengal, will open the esteemed event and JIS University will host it in Kolkata on March 18 and 19. An early look at what is expected to be a major assembly of academic leaders from Eastern India was provided by the press conference. Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Taranjit Singh, Managing Director of JIS Group, stated that academic leaders gather at the East Zone Vice Chancellors Meet, a special forum for influencing higher education's future. In addition to promoting responsible growth and development, their emphasis on fairness, diversity, and sustainability ensures that the educational landscape changes to accommodate the requirements of all students, regardless of background. The two-day event will include several significant sessions that will address the pressing need for sustainability in the curriculum, campus growth, and societal outreach while also examining the role that educational institutions may play in fostering diversity and inclusivity. Mirroring the increasing focus on building an inclusive and accessible education ecosystem while fostering environmental sustainability in India's higher education landscape, this year's East Zone Vice Chancellors Meet will take place under the theme "Equity, Diversity & Sustainability," in line with AIU's vision to facilitate academic cooperation, and the two-day meet will host Vice Chancellors from more than 100 universities of Eastern India, as announced during a press conference addressed by distinguished leaders in the education industry including Dr Pankaj Mittal, Secretary General of AIU; Sardar Taranjit Singh, MD of JIS Group; Dr Bhabes Bhattacharya, Vice Chancellor of JIS University; Dr Neeraj Saxena, Pro-Chancellor of JIS Group; and Shri Bidyut Majumder, Deputy Director of Business Development, JIS Group, offering a vital platform for leaders to share innovative ideas and initiatives that can help further the cause of inclusivity and sustainability in higher education.
