News Desk, News Nation 360 : With assistance from the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH), the Jute Products Development & Export Promotion Council (JPDEPC) and the Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) will organise a significant roadshow in Kolkata on November 20, 2024, to advertise the 2nd Edition of Bharat Tex, which is set for February 14–17, 2025. The goal of the roadshow, which will take place at The Westin in Kolkata, is to get buyers, exhibitors, and experts in the textile sector excited and involved in the event. The Roadshow is a precursor to Bharat Tex 2025, an expected international platform for textile and apparel exporters. India will showcase its cutting-edge, sustainable textile solutions, bringing forward the latest achievements of the industry. The 2nd edition of Bharat Tex 2025 will be conducted at two prominent venues: Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi; and India Expo Mart, Noida. Bharat Tex 2025 aims to create a global networking platform between international buyers and Indian exporters and manufacturers for opportunities for new business and growing trade relations. Some of the most prominent industry leaders and dignitaries present during the roadshow will include Hon'ble Union Minister of Textiles, Giriraj Singh, Pabitra Margherita, Minister of State for External Affairs, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, Rohit Kansal, Chairman, JPDEPC, Gopal Saraf, Vice Chairman, JPDEPC, Manish Kajaria, Chairman, AEPC, Sudhir Sekhri, and Regional Chairman, AEPC, Anil Bhuchasia. With more than 5000 exhibitors and 600 international buyers from over 40 countries including India, Bharat Tex 2025 will occupy an expansive exhibition space of more than 220,000 square meters. The purpose of the event is to bring together Indian exporters and manufacturers with international buyers, fostering a cooperative atmosphere to investigate new business prospects and fortify commercial relations. The roadshow will provide insights into the importance of Bharat Tex 2025 for India's textile and apparel industries. Be it in global trade, sustainability, innovation, and government support for expanding India's export footprint, speakers will share their views. The event is expected to attract more than 350 industry members across the nation.
