Samrat Ghosh, Chief Cluster Officer - East, North, and Premium Cluster, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. stated that with the proud introduction of Zed Bangla's second afternoon slot show, Kajol Nodir Jole, afternoons are about to get even more interesting. Themes of love, treachery, and having the guts to make difficult decisions are all deftly woven throughout this gripping tale. For their audience, the program promises to be an interesting and unforgettable event. The portrayal of Kankabati, played by Arunima Halder, a gifted dancer divided between her actual wants and societal expectations, is brought to life by Kajol Nodir Jole. Kankabati, who is deeply in love with Samujwal (Mainak Banerjee), a well-known singer at the college where she attends, finds that her attempts to pursue a closer relationship with him after graduation are unsuccessful. This results in a loveless marriage with a manipulative husband (Anindya Chatterjee) and a cunning mother-in-law. Discovering a sinister family plot, Kankabati has to choose between sticking with her unhappy marriage and pursuing her love for Samujwal by navigating lies and secrets.
