Kolkata's Eid Milan Mela Offered a Distinctive Shopping Experience

News Desk, News Nation 360 : From February 8th to 10th, 2025, Best Friendz Society NGO, in collaboration with Kolkata Fashion Sale, organised an exhibition and sale for women entrepreneurs and startups called EID MILAN MELA. Exhibition Queen Tasu Ali and Best Friendz Society co-founder Shagufta Hanaphie organised the event, which aimed to showcase and sell innovative products and services made by women entrepreneurs at Jamal Building, Khidderpore. The expo served as a one-stop shop for consumers, showcasing fashion and lifestyle items in a variety of categories, including clothing, accessories, home décor, skincare, and farmer's market. There will also be food vendors, a free mehendi area, and a sit-and-draw competition. The Eid Milan Mela provided guests with a unique and satisfying shopping experience. The Eid Milan Mela had a range of vendors such as Ifra Collection, Zara Collection, Stylezone, Oriflame, Cake Boutique by Mantasha, Ayat Kitchen, Bismillah Collection, Neha Collection, Alina Collection, Classic Bed Sheet, NRY Collection, Rani Collection, Farjana Style, Mehandi by Natasha, Zeba Attire, and Shimmer Collections. The function was honoured by the guest appearances of social workers Sheila Kapoor, Hena Kapoor, Janab Shahbaz, Janab Md Atiq Rahman, MD Bluesky Education Founder Debjani Ghosh (Alok Foundation), baker Shirin Eqbal, and Advocate Sultan Yasmin. The wide variety of products turned the exhibition into a hot shopping point, especially considering the current marriage and party season, and other upcoming festivals like Ramadan, Eid, and Holi. Shagufta Hanaphie, Exhibition curator & founder of Best Friendz Society, stated that their goal was to support homepreneurs in particular, encourage teamwork, and give them access to networking possibilities. Over a thousand visitors have visited the house in the last three days to shop.
