News Desk, News Nation 360 : To commemorate its 60th anniversary, Lalbaba Engineering Group launched the first-ever worldwide joint venture in the seamless tubes business with Poppe+Potthoff, a 100-year-old German tube manufacturing behemoth. On the verge of this milestone, Indo-Deutsch Precision Tubes combines Poppe+Potthoff's century-old experience in high-pressure diesel injection tubing with Lalbaba's cutting-edge Continuous Cold Draw system. The cutting-edge Haryana plant will prioritise sustainability while raising the bar for excellence worldwide. Founded in 1964 by Murari Lal Dhanuka and further developed under the leadership of his son, Kishan Dhanuka, the Lalbaba group has grown to encompass entities like PEW Engineering Pvt. Ltd., Lalbaba Industrial Corporation Pvt. Ltd., Lalbaba Seamless Tubes Pvt. Ltd., and Lalbaba Projects Pvt. Ltd. With a current annual production of 72,000 MT, the group is recognized as one of India's largest Cold Drawn manufacturers and aims to increase production by an additional 15,000 MT per annum with their upcoming facility in Haryana. Having reported a consolidated revenue of INR 750 crores in FY 2023-24, the Lalbaba group is projected to reach INR 1000 crores in FY 2024-25, demonstrating a strong 25% growth trajectory. With a 2 MW rooftop solar system now providing 35% of its power and aspirations to expand this to 50% in two years, the facility sets new standards for sustainable production. In addition to using 85% less water than traditional seamless tube plants, it guarantees zero liquid discharge through advanced wastewater treatment, which reuses all process effluent, further demonstrating its dedication to environmental responsibility.
