News Desk, News Nation 360 : The Uttar Pradesh government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is committed to making Mahakumbh 2025 a global symbol of India's cultural unity. This effort has led to a grand roadshow in West Bengal to invite Governor Dr C.V. Ananda Bose, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, and the people of West Bengal to participate in the Prayagraj Mahakumbh-2025. This event highlighted Mahakumbh as a unique celebration of diversity in India and pointed to its importance as the face of 'Ek Bharat-Shreshth Bharat-Samaveshi Bharat.' Minister Saxena was assertive that Mahakumbh 2025 shall be a history-defying event with participation at international levels and high standards of facilities, so strengthening Mahakumbh as the worldwide representation of India's cultural and spiritual consciousness. During the press conference, the Minister of State (Independent Charge), Forest and Environment, Zoological Garden, Climate Change, stated that the Prayagraj Kumbh in 2019 was a "divine and grand" event that many may have seen. It became a lasting representation of India's cultural pride on the international scene. Everyone around the globe agreed that the event was well-managed. He further underlined that the Mahakumbh this year will be more magnificent and divinely significant than the one that came before it. They anticipate that more than 450 million pilgrims, saints, ascetics, and tourists will attend Prayagraj Mahakumbh in 2025. The government of Uttar Pradesh has made timely and careful preparations.
The Mahakumbh would be digital, safe, healthy, and clean. Declaring the event a Mahakumbh free of single-use plastic is a commitment to make it environmentally friendly. This initiative includes the allocation of different dona-pattal vendor shops within the Mela area, meetings with 400 school principals to discuss cleanliness and communication with 4 lakh children—five times Prayagraj's population—about the initiative for a clean Maha Kumbh. Additionally, every family is receiving the message of a world free of single-use plastics through the 'Har Ghar Dastak' campaign. Special emphasis has been placed on making Mahakumbh Mela 2025 both clean and green. Approximately three lakh plants have been cultivated across Prayagraj, with the Uttar Pradesh government pledging to ensure their care and maintenance even after the conclusion of the Mela.
