News Desk, News Nation 360 : Mountaineer Piyali Basak is embarking on next month's journey to Simapamma and Cho Oyu, the highest peaks on the India-China border. Recently, she visited Iconic, one of the well-known event planner firms of Kolkata, at their office. Talking about her future ambitions, she said that she has already climbed peaks of 27,000 feet. She has accomplished six of the world's highest peaks. But ascending those peaks at the India-China border is a new aspiration for her. She said that she is the first Indian woman climber to undertake this specific aim. She also added that if the border is shut due to the present situation, she will instead target ascending the summit of Kanchenjunga. Additionally, she said that since she originates from Chinsurah, she would like to open an academy in Chandannagar at some point in the future.
