National Youth Day Marked the Opening of the Children's Literature Festival at Jain Futuristic Academy

News Desk, News Nation 360 : In light of National Youth Day, the SPK Jain Futuristic Academy proudly launched the Kolkata Children's Literature Festival 2024, highlighting the value of children's literature. This event coincided with Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary and reflects his ideals and visions for fostering young minds via creativity and reading. The presence of Jain Sabha office bearers, school board members Lalith Kankaria and Jaideep Patwa, and principal Darshan Mutha added to the festival's inaugural grandeur. Their combined presence demonstrated the community's dedication to the goals and success of the festival. The academy's Newtown campus held its grand inauguration, graced by the distinguished presence of Chief Advisor Debasish Sen, who holds the positions of MD HIDCO and Chairman of NKDA/NDITA.

Debashish Sen emphasised the importance of celebrating the festival on this auspicious day in his motivational speech. He stated that the festival's goal, which is to encourage a love of literature among future generations, is in great harmony with the values and teachings of Swami Vivekananda. He also emphasised the importance of elevating children's literature. He added that there's a growing market for excellent children's literature. Children are frequently observed excitedly lining up for book releases. They addressed this issue and gave young readers and writers additional platforms. The festival, which is set for January 13 and 14, promises a fascinating lineup of writers, performers, and speakers. Through interactive conversations, storytelling sessions, and workshops, it hopes to enthral young audiences and inspire them to explore the fascinating world of books and ideas.
