News Desk, News Nation 360 : Nephrocare India joyfully marks three years of successful operation. Walking briskly for 30 minutes a day keeps the kidneys healthy. To promote this healthy habit, we organised a walkathon called "Walk for Health, Walk for your Kidneys," which drew 400 participants and featured celebrities who matched their steps. Nephrocare was where the walk began, and Hotel Golden Tulip was where it ended. Tea and a speech by renowned director Dr. Pratim Sengupta followed the occasion. Several notable individuals attended the event, including Ashish Mittal, director of the Golden Tulip Hotel; Piyali Basak, mountaineer; Ram Krishna Jaiswal, Consulate of the Maldives; Arindam Sil, actor and film director; and Dr Pratim Sengupta, founder and director of Nephro Care. Nephrocare is a unique approach to patient care, focused on comprehensive and compassionate care at an affordable cost. Their diagnostic and treatment decisions go beyond
conventional medical practice, embracing a holistic perspective. They understand that every human being has a unique composition of physical, mental, spiritual, and energetic bodies and, therefore, disease may present in all these forms. Although laboratory investigations provide insight into the physical nature of ailments, the clinic recognizes that mental, spiritual, and energetic factors play a huge role in determining overall health. Taking these into consideration, Nephrocare hopes to offer a more holistic and effective treatment that gets at the root causes of disease rather than textbook definitions and conventional medical interventions. Nephrocare, a pioneering institute in the field of nephrology founded by the renowned nephrologist Dr. Pratim Sengupta, initiated a mascot called "Mr. Nephrocare" to raise awareness about kidney health. This would help connect with the public on the need for early detection, regular check-ups, and holistic kidney care. The mascot symbolizes the institute's commitment to patient education, which was taken to various locations in the city to spread awareness about kidney health and its significance.
