News Desk, News Nation 360 : Recently at Bidhan Shishu Udyan in Kolkata, a reception marking the founding anniversary of the 'Burdwan Sahajoddha' organization took place. As part of the 'Kumud Sahitya Mela Committee' of Purba Burdwan district, it was also releasing a souvenir titled 'Pallikavi and Court.' The program featured among others Justice Rabindranath Samanta, Siddharth Mukherjee and Dilip Kumar Biswas. Since many committee members and the poet's family were associated with the legal profession, the occasion brought to the fore the link of 'Pallikavi' Kumudranjan Mallick with the judiciary. Mahasweta Banerjee of the poet's family was thanked by the committee, and Samarendu Chakraborty, Sheikh Abdul Jabbar, and Dilip Kumar Biswas recited poems. The 'Burdwan Sahajoddha' organization, popular for its legal awareness programs, conferred the 'Purba Burdwan District Ratna Samman' on Justice Rabindranath Samanta. The Kumud Literary Fair Committee underscored that this memorial publication was an offering in the name of the poet himself on his 54th death anniversary.
