Snehasis Chakraborty, Cabinet Minister, Department of Transport, Government of West Bengal, formally opened the service today in front of Dr Saumitra Mohan, Secretary of Transportation, Government of West Bengal. Through this partnership, the airport now
offers Rapido's cheapest taxis, with intentions to expand these services to ten additional airports by March 25. Rapido has partnered with the Airports Authority of India (AAI) to establish dedicated cab service zones at Kolkata Airport. This collaboration aims to provide travellers with convenient, affordable, and reliable transportation options from the airport to various destinations in the city. By leveraging its tech-powered SaaS business model, Rapido ensures real-time ride availability and competitive pricing, benefiting both passengers and drivers. This initiative enhances the overall travel experience for passengers, offering a seamless and cost-effective journey from the moment they step out of the airport terminal.
