Ratan Dutta Social Welfare Society Hosted 43rd Blood and Blanket Donation Camp

News Desk, News Nation 360 : To honour the late Ratan Dutta, the "Ratan Dutta Social Welfare Society" held the "43rd Voluntary Blood Donation Camp" at the Bharatvarshya Brahma Mandir on Keshav Chandra Sen Street on the second day of the new year. At the same time, this organisation distributed blankets to the area's needy and impoverished residents as winter clothing. After the unnatural death of Ratan Dutta's grandfather, Swapan Dutta, well-known social worker Vijaykrishna Roy advised him to dedicate his brother's memory through the establishment of a social service organization. He then established "Ratan Dutta Social Welfare Society" by initiating annual blood donation and winter clothing donation camps as its principal activities. These events

enjoyed substantial local interest and attendance, not to mention senior Trinamool Congress leader Sanjay Bakshi, local borough president Swapan Samaddar, Kolkata Municipal Corporation ward 40 representative Suparna Dutta, Yuva Trinamool Congress leader Souma Bakshi, Hindu Satkar Samiti Ashi Parishad member Sanjay Roy, Niranjan Mitra (Tultul), Badal Bhattacharya, and Prabhandha Roy alias Fanta who all called on the members of the organization to support and appreciate the initiative and community work for the betterment of people being undertaken under Ratan Dutta's name. On behalf of the organization, Secretary Somnath Banerjee stated that at the blood donation camp, approximately 70 people voluntarily gave blood, and this evening, the organisation will use a cultural event stage to give winter clothing to 100 local impoverished people.
