Silver Jubilee Blood Donation Camp at College Street Indian Coffee House

News Desk, News Nation 360 : On the special day of Coffee House Lovers' Day, the present driving force of Indian Coffee House, Coffee House Social Service Association, recently completed a twelve-hour blood donation camp titled One Purpose: Blood Donation in memory of Sur Samrat Salil Chowdhury. At various points during the programme, notable individuals were in attendance, including football player Mridul Banerjee, Arup Roy, Minister for Food Processing Industries and

Horticulture, Government of West Bengal; Suparnakanti Ghosh, composer of the well-known legendary song Coffee Houser Sei Addata, sung by Manna Dey; and Anupam Halder, one of the Joint Commissioners of the Revenue Department under the Ministry of Finance, Government of West Bengal. On behalf of the organizing camp, Secretary Achintya Laha stated that before 2001, the College Street coffee shop served just as a gathering spot for conversation and coffee. They have been holding blood donation camps here since 2001. This year marks the start of the "Indian Coffee House" blood donation camp's silver jubilee.
