Damodar Mishra; the Tabla Samrat Sw. Pt. Mohan Lal Mishra; and the Tabla Samrat Sw. Pt. Bundi Maharaj. At this unique occasion, renowned musicians paid tribute to their unmatched contributions to Indian classical music with a series of breathtaking performances. The delicate sitar melodies of Shubhanker Ghosh, who was accompanying the duet, brilliantly complemented the performance. The renowned tabla maestro Pt. Gopal Mishra, whose proficiency on the instrument reverberated
with each beat, provided the foundation for the evening's rhythm. A classical duet by the renowned Pt. Deepak Mishra and Pt. Prakash Mishra, who performed full of soul and technical mastery, was among the concert's amazing lineup. These musicians, who are of the 15th generation of the Benaras Gharana, are from Kabir Chaura in Varanasi and are experts in khayal gayaki. Through their creativity, their family's rich musical legacy—passed down for more than 500 years from their father, Sangeet Shiromani Pt. Mohan Lal Mishra, and grandfather, Pt. Damodar Mishra—continues to flourish. The brothers, who have played all over the world and are torchbearers of the Benaras Gharana, are known for their beautiful voices and raga mastery. They also teach students in Varanasi and Kolkata, maintaining the Guru-Shishya parampara. Shubhanker Ghosh, a sitarist, played alongside the duet, adding nuanced melodies to the performance that perfectly matched it. The renowned tabla maestro Pt.
