News Desk, News Nation 360 : Taalpatar Shepai, a well-known Bengali band, recorded the song Chena Ghor for Tathagata Mukherjee's next family drama, "RAAS." The lead duo, Vikram and Devlina Kumar, will feature the music as they reflect on their past formative years and self-discovery. In "RAAS," Somnath (Vikram Chatterjee) visits his native village, Manikpur, after 18 years, and his childhood sweetheart, Rai (Devlina Kumar), leads him through the known landscape. Traveling through villages, playgrounds, and farmland revives Somnath's love of simple, nature-surrounded village life, contrasted with his known urban way of life, where he finds freedom, relationships, and attachments overshadowed by luxury and money. The song "Chena Ghor," performed by Pritam Das, with words by Kritee Roy and music by Suman Ghosh and Pritam Das, arranged by Taalpatar Shepai, is played at this critical juncture, emphasizing Somnath's awakening. The movie, which is directed by Tathagata Mukherjee and produced by Chhobir Moton Entertainment, has a star cast of Anirban Chakrabarty, Anasuya Majumder, Shankar Debnath, Arna Mukhopaddhay, Ranojoy, Parijat Chaudhuri, Debasish, Sudip Mukherjee, Debaprasad Halder, and Apratim Chatterjee, and technical inputs by Art Director Ananda Adhya, Editor Amir Mondal, DOP Uttaran De, and Sound Designers Adeep Singh Manki and Tanmoy Saha.
