The event will take place at the G-Series Techno India Main Campus on April 1st and 2nd, 2025, from 12 to 6 p.m. This exhibition, which will showcase a wide range of distinctive collections from 13 renowned collectors living in Kolkata, strives to honour and preserve the city's past for future generations. Prof. Manoshi Roychowdhury, Co-Chairperson of Techno India Group, stated that they are thrilled to see how their students will get the chance to interact with these priceless historical artefacts in conjunction with the "Kolkata Kathokata" exhibition. This is a fantastic chance to combine tradition with contemporary ingenuity. Being associated with such a distinguished exhibition demonstrates their dedication to helping

their pupils develop a strong sense of cultural awareness and respect for history. "Kolkata Kathokata" is committed to keeping alive Kolkata's cultural and historical memory through exhibitions, discourses, and publications, in tribute to older collectors and as an inspiration to younger ones to take up the city's heritage. This year's exhibition provides an interesting travel back in time through the history of Kolkata with collections of yellowed newspapers, especially those from the 15th of August, 1947, with freedom fighter letters and documents, Independence Era memorabilia such as brochures and advertisements, antique banknotes dating from British to independent India, signatures of renowned personalities, and eclectic collectibles such as antique pens, playing cards, cameras, and watches. Significantly, a special tribute to Satyajit Ray will be presented with his film memorabilia. To further involve visitors, particularly the younger generation, a quiz on early Kolkata will be conducted, making the exhibition a complete celebration of the city's iconic legacy.
