The Countdown to the Highly Anticipated Tata Steel Kolkata 25K 2023 Begins

News Desk, News Nation 360 : The countdown to Tata Steel Kolkata 25K, one of the largest running festivals in India, began on Sunday, December 17 in the stately surroundings of the famous Victoria Memorial with the hashtag #AamarKolkataAamarRun. Renowned athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and amateurs will be encouraged by World Champion Hurdler, International Event Ambassador Colin Jackson, Ratnas Jhulan Goswami, and Koushani Mukherjee at the eighth edition of the competition. With its start and finish at the famous Red Road, the World Athletics Elite Label Road Race is the only AIMS-accredited 25K course and is thoughtfully designed to take in some of the city's most magnificent sights, including Eden Gardens, Victoria Memorial, Park Street, Vidya Sagar Setu, James Prinsep Ghat, and Fort Williams Golf. The USD 100,000 prize money event is still accepting registrations, and enthusiasm is high. The running community has responded so strongly to the feature races—the 25K, 10K, and Silvers' Run—that they are currently oversubscribed. Enrollment for the Ananda Run and Champions with Disability is available until November 30, IST 11:59 p.m., or until the number of available spots is reached, whichever comes first. According to Major General H. Dharmarajan, the Indian Army's General Officer Commanding the Bengal Sub Area, Kolkata has always been a cultural city, and this will be the city's largest sporting event. He would love to run for the soldiers and his colleagues who have sacrificed their lives for the country, he can say from his experience in his field.
