The India Food Services Report 2024 was Released by the National Restaurant Association of India

News Desk, News Nation 360 : New Delhi saw the release of the eagerly awaited India Food Services Report 2024 (NRAI IFSR 2024) by the National Restaurant Association of India, the voice of the country's restaurant industry. Nandini Chakravorty, IAS, Home Secretary, Government of West Bengal, launched the report and a special booklet on the food services sector in Kolkata. A detailed analysis shared by industry stakeholders and consumer voices can be found in the 5th edition of the NRAI India Food Services Report, which also includes a brief report on the food services sector in Kolkata. The report offers insightful information on investment strategies, dining trends, operational models and practices, and sustainability initiatives. Also, gracing the occasion with their presence were the Office Bearers of the Kolkata Chapter, Sagar Daryani– CEO & Co-Founder, Wow! Momo Foods and Vice President NRAI, Aditya Ladsaria- Co-Founder and Director, Chai Break, National Management Committee member, Abhimanyu Maheshwari - Founder and CEO, Zing Restaurants, NRAI Kolkata Chapter Head and Piyush Kankaria - Co-Founder and Partner, The Yellow Straw, NRAI Kolkata Co-Chapter Head. Abhimanyu Maheshwari, NRAI Kolkata Chapter Head, MD – Zing Restaurants Pvt. Ltd. stated that known for its exquisite desserts and Mughal-inspired cuisines, Kolkata's food industry is dynamic and ever-evolving, with over 30,000 restaurants contributing to the organised dining space. This study not only honours the variety of cuisines found in their city but also emphasises how important it is to the growth of India's rapidly expanding food services sector.
