The JIS Group Hosted the Shadinatar Choloman Mohotsav Independence Day Freedom Walk

News Desk, News Nation 360 : In honour of India's 78th Independence Day, JIS Group organised the "Shadinatar Choloman Mohotsav" Independence Day Freedom Walk. Over 2,000 eager students took part in the walk, which started at the Guru Nanak Campus in Sodepur and ended at Nilganj in Kolkata. This colourful celebration honours the sacrifices that have influenced the history of the country and pays a moving tribute to the spirit of independence, unity, and wellness. The involvement of distinguished luminaries, such as Deputy Director of the JIS Group Bidyut Majumdar and Director of the JIS Group Sardar Simarpreet Singh, elevated the freedom walk even further. Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Simarpreet Singh, Director of JIS Group, expressed his pride in the successful organisation of the event and stated that an amazing event that highlights the

spirit of their students and the JIS fraternity as a whole is the Independence Day Walk. Witnessing such tremendous engagement is incredibly encouraging as it demonstrates the ingrained patriotism and dedication to nation-building that they work so hard to teach in their children. As they march in unison, they commemorate not just the independence of their country but also their common aspiration for an improved and more robust future for India. The walk brought together students, faculty, and staff from various educational institutions of JIS Group. The event aimed to foster a sense of national pride and collective responsibility among the younger generation, emphasising the importance of physical fitness and mental well-being to build a stronger India. The event witnessed the showcasing of a 500-foot giant Indian flag to pay homage to their valiant freedom fighters.
