News Desk, News Nation 360 : In Kolkata, Ekal Sangini showcased the third edition of a unique lifestyle expo organised by the Friends of Tribals Society (FTS)-Mahila Samity and its youth section. With 38 chapters around India 37 Mahila Samities and 8 Sah Samities devoted to this admirable cause, FTS is one of the biggest NGOs in India, having been in operation since 1989. The Ekal Sangini exhibition offered a unique opportunity to introduce leading fashion designers to FTS's objective while bringing them together. The proceeds from this event will go directly towards helping rural children who attend FTS-run Ekal Vidyalayas in isolated Indian areas. More than fifty
luxury brands showcased an amazing selection of fashion and lifestyle items during the event. This large-scale show featured prominent brands like Surana Jewellery, KCC Gallery Store of Emami Group, Ibiss, Enaya, Ksanduk, Aarju Jain, Laxmi Jewellers, and many more. Richa Sharma, actress and Mrs India International opened the Ekal Sangini: A Unique Lifestyle Exhibition. Among those in attendance were renowned matchmaker Seema Taparia, dance educator and choreographer Alokananda Roy, director Raajorshee De, motivational speaker Naina More, luxury style curator Chikky Goenka, model Madhabilata Mitra, fashion designer Kommal Sood, musician Gaurab Chatterjee (Gaboo), and many other notable figures. President of Kolkata FTS stated that their goal is to use education to improve communities. In addition to showcasing stunning designs, this exhibition raises money for the promising futures of children in rural India. They have been able to significantly improve the lives of people they serve thanks in large part to their generosity and dedication to their cause.
