The Third National Conference on Emerging Approaches Towards Sustainability was organised by Greater Kolkata College of Engineering

News Desk, News Nation 360 : Under the prestigious auspices of JIS Group Education Initiatives, Greater Kolkata College of Engineering wrapped up the two-day 3rd National Conference on Emerging Approaches Towards Sustainability (NCEATS-2024). The conference took place on April 5 and 6, 2024, in technical cooperation with the Kolkata chapter of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE). Prof. (Dr.) Debashis De, Chairman of CSI-Kolkata Chapter and Professor at MAKAUT, Dr. Jyoti Sekhar Banerjee, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (AI and ML) at Bengal Institute of Technology, Kolkata, India, Secretary of CSI-Kolkata Chapter, and Prof. (Dr.) Jyotsna Kumar Mandal, Ex. Vice Chancellor of Raiganj University West Bengal and Former Chairman of both CSI Kolkata Chapter & IETE Kolkata Centre, Dr Aniruddha Nag, Associate Professor at Techno India Group and Secretary of IETE, Ex-Chairman of CSI; Dr Atanu Bhattacharjee, Associate Professor at JIS University, West Bengal; and Prof. (Dr.) Mahuya Das, Principal of GKCEM, Baruipur, Kolkata, West Bengal were among the distinguished guests of the event. On this occasion, Sardar Simarpreet Singh, Director of JIS Group, stated that Sustainability is a commitment to the future, not just a catchphrase. NCEATS-2024 is a prime example of their commitment to fostering creativity and teamwork in the pursuit of a sustainable future. NCEATS-2024's main goal was to give academics, engineers, and professionals from industry and research labs a forum to discuss and exchange the most recent developments and discoveries in their fields. For two days, technical papers were presented orally in four different tracks at the conference. NCEATS-2024 received a resounding response, with 58 research papers submitted overall, 20 of which are from states other than West Bengal. The accepted papers will appear in UGC Care and other indexing journals, which will increase knowledge sharing and foster collaboration between the academic and business communities. With NCEATS-2024, Greater Kolkata College of Engineering and its partners are demonstrating their dedication to advancing sustainable development via innovation and research. The conference provides an essential forum for fostering innovation, encouraging cross-disciplinary cooperation, and accelerating progress in the direction of a sustainable future.
