News Desk, News Nation 360 : The legendary football player and former captain of the Indian football team, Shyam Thapa, unveiled the jersey of the football team Credo Accelerate, which will play in the upcoming XSL-Xaverian Soccer League, at the Calcutta Sports Journalists Club. The league, a flagship project of the St. Xavier's College (Calcutta) Alumni Association in association with the Department of Sports, St. Xavier's College (Autonomous) Kolkata, promises to unite football fans and promote a spirit of sport. The presence of Shyam Thapa, who represents the high standards and aspirations of the Credo Accelerate team to compete in the XSL—Xaverian Soccer League—brought inspiration and a sense of pride to the new team members. Pinaki Roy Chowdhury, Founder Trustee of CREDO Foundation, highlighted the importance of sports in building character and fostering teamwork and stated that for them, the introduction of the Credo Accelerate jersey represents a noteworthy achievement.
