This two-acre facility signifies Thermax's commitment to innovation, quality, and customer focus, with its aim of environmental conservation. The highly automated and advanced production techniques will maximize output and efficiency while minimizing waste. The plant will be supported by nearly 1,000 vendors throughout India, and it will house a remote monitoring system powered by Thermax's Edge Live® digital solution. Thermax's water and wastewater business has grown significantly in recent years, expanding from just sewage treatment plants and reverse osmosis systems to now include effluent recycling systems, zero liquid discharge solutions, and even more novel technologies like softener and filter vessels, tubular membrane modules, and Capacitive Deionization solutions. The new facility is also designed to double its production capacity in the future. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the new water and wastewater solutions facility, Ashish Bhandari, MD and CEO of Thermax, stated that at Thermax, they are moving in the right direction to advance environmental stewardship and establish ourselves as a reliable partner in the energy transition. Building a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for water and wastewater solutions is a reflection of their unwavering commitment to investing in strengthening the country's engineering capabilities as well as their unwavering pursuit of raising the bar in the provision of clean solutions for a variety of applications across industries. In the presence of stakeholders, customers, and industry experts, the factory was officially opened. During the inauguration ceremony, there were informative talks, facility tours led by knowledgeable guides, and hands-on demonstrations showcasing the cutting-edge features and functionalities of the water treatment and conservation systems and products that will be produced and assembled at the new plant. The products and manufacturing line of the innovative Thermax Water and Waste Solutions division is well-positioned to cater to a wide range of industries, including commercial, municipal, residential, and effluent treatment, sewage treatment, water treatment, and reverse osmosis (RO).
