News Desk, News Nation 360 : The National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. (NSE) and the West Bengal government hosted an interactive workshop in Kolkata on September 27, 2024, with the theme "SME IPO - Promising Avenue of Fund Raising for SMEs." A small number of West Bengali state-based SME boosters attended the event. Rajesh Pandey, IAS, Principal Secretary, MSME&T Department, Government of West Bengal stated that they've put together a fun session with the National Stock Exchange today to help their state's MSMEs get the support and encouragement they need to look into listing prospects on the NSE Emerge platform. Focus groups of companies gave the event positive feedback, and many promoters expressed interest in investigating the possibility of obtaining money through the stock market. The MSME&T Department will give aspiring SMEs the assistance they require.
